1. Who operates this app
Mahjong Master is operated by 曹燕. Contact: alllife@gmail.com. This policy covers the iOS app and this website.
2. Practice data stays on your device
No account is required. Practice progress, bookmarks, preferences, explanation entitlements and cached translations are stored on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your hands, screenshots, photos or practice history. System backups may contain local app data.
3. Optional ads and consent
The app uses Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). Consent status is updated at launch. Ads are requested when you choose an ad reward. Required consent forms are presented before requesting ads; privacy choices are available in Settings when required. You can continue core practice without watching ads.
4. Information handled by Google
Google services may process IP address and approximate location, device or app identifiers, diagnostics, performance information and ad interactions for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and service improvement. The current integration requests non-personalized ads and does not request Apple tracking permission. Non-personalized ads may still involve data processing. See Google’s Privacy Policy and advertising information.
5. Translation and device permissions
Optional explanation translation uses Apple’s system translation. Language files may need downloading; results are cached locally. The app has no screenshot-upload feature and does not request camera, microphone, contacts, photo-library or precise-location access.
6. This website
These static pages are hosted on Cloudflare Pages. They include no advertising or analytics scripts and no account system. Cloudflare may process connection information such as IP address, time and requested URL to serve and secure the site. See Cloudflare privacy information. Visiting Google links is subject to the policies of those services.
7. Retention and your choices
Local data remains until removed. Resetting practice progress preserves bookmarks and previously earned explanation entitlements. Deleting the app removes its local data; manage device or cloud backups separately. Google and the hosting provider handle their own retention under their policies. Contact us about privacy requests; we may be unable to identify ad data that we do not hold.
8. Children and updates
The app is not specifically designed for children. We do not knowingly seek children’s personal information; contact us if you have a concern. Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page before or when the related practices change.
